Chestnut stakes, bean sticks and pea sticks
Sawn timber From The Wood has been used for the following landscaping features....
4" by 4" (100by100) oak upright with struts also in oak
8" by 4" (200 by 100) sleeper edges to raised beds. In oak
Compost bins with oak posts and oak and larch slats.
Boards awaiting resawing into slats for an Arbor
Doors constructed from a mix of sawn ash and oak boards 8 years old
Western hemlock works well and has been used for internal timbers in an unheated building
Fencing stakes and posts both sawn and round....
Sweet chestnut coppice
Oak 'godfather'post. The hit and miss fence behind was sawn from larch 12-15 year ago, also From The Wood
Sweet chestnut coppice for hedging stakes,garden stakes and tree stakes.
Sawn oak posts blanks. 3" by 3" (75 by 75 mm)
Bean sticks. From the wood can also supply peas sticks also made from hazell coppice.
Firewood specs- Cordwood,chipping wood and noggins....
Round wood firewood grade ,from ash and oak. Requies collection please enquire.
Noggins are ideal for using to create a hot base to your fire. Place them in the grate on each side between the paper and kindling.
Manufacturing Noggins.
Noggins can also work well in outdoor fire pits.
Chipping Wood/Second grade firewood.
Oak boards cut and stacked for air drying.
The customer will collect his stacks for continued drying elsewhere.
